KDB started his youth career with KVV Drongen club in 1997, then he joined Ghent from 1999 to 2005, then he played for Genk from 2005 to 2008 in his youth. Wolfsburg signed this Belgian giant for a fee of £18 million on January 18, 2014. After 7 days of signing, Kevin De Bruyne played his debut match with Wolfsburg against Hannover 96 on January 25, 2014, which resulted in home defeat 3-1. He made his first mark at Wolfsburg by assisting 2 goals against 1. FC Nürnberg. He scored his first goal for Wolfsburg against Hamburger SV.
